Cocinando Suave – an in-depth Caribbean cooking course with history.

Immense gratitude to the beautiful people of Los Angeles and all who helped make our “Cocinando Suave” class possible. Thank you to the Cambrón family and the people of The Workers’ Center “La Casa Roja.”

During our class, we cooked and learned the history of: Sofrito casero, Adobo casero, Ensalada de frutas estilo caribeño , Ensalada de bacalao y camarón, Arroz blanco con coco, Pollo en fricasé, Rabo guisado, Habichuelas guisadas, Tostones, Plátanos maduros, Salteado de hoja de malanga, Jugo de piña, pepino y menta
